A slinky 1940s slip in a crisp, sheer white. Originally intended as nightwear, it works beautifully worn as a dress today. It feels like a rayon blend, possibly with some silk, and has a loose column-style silhouette with a sweetheart neckline and skinny straps. It features seam detailing, embroidered flowers, and the original owner’s name sewn into the back of the neck.

Condition: Very good

• Some fragility and areas of thinning to the fabric in places.
• There is some light scuffing throughout, along with a couple of scattered pinholes.
• A faint mark to the right side of the bust.
• Some tiny mends under the left arm.
