1900s Edwardian Petticoat
A lovely, authentic, and very full Edwardian petticoat underskirt, beautifully cut to emphasise the S-bend silhouette. Made from a medium-weight, structured cotton, it features a curved waistband, a full skirt, and delicately executed pleating to create shape. As is typical for petticoats of this era, there is a deep opening at the back, which could be closed with a small alteration if preferred.
Condition: Very good. Clearly this piece has been loved and worn for generations, and has been taken in and mended over the years.
- The waistband has been extensively taken in to fit a former owner.
- There are a few scattered, very well-done mends at the back of the skirt.
- There is also a very small rust stain on the skirt.
