An insane 1970s gilet/vest, made from Mongolian shearling. The shearling itself is a lovely colour palette, and is incredibly full and fluffy. It has a thick marled rib knit trim along the collar, placket and hem, and closes at the front with metal snap closures.
Condition: Very good / good
The shearling is in great condition, but the leather had dried out considerably underneath the fur. Quite large sections of the leather backing have been repaired by myself, with curls re-stitched into place. One small area can be lifted up, but otherwise the curls are all secure.
The knit has one small nibble at the neck.
The lining has some nibbles and is not sewn at the bottom, but is secured with 1970s era safety pins.
Measurements: Shown on a UK 8 model, 5'3" (bust 32", waist 26–27", hip 35").
Measurements have been taken with the gilet fully closed.
