This 1940s slip is from American label, Artemis. It is cut from what feels like a rayon and acetate blend in a lovely duck egg blue colour. It has a plunging neckline, with smocking at the shoulders, a wide waist with tie to cinch and nice lace appliques (that have been added later, I'd imagine to cover stains as I can see no material damage on the backs).
Condition: Excellent.
In beautiful condition for its age, with some light general wear to the fabric.
A tiny mark near the hem, at the front.

Bust: stretches up to 34" - great for a larger bust! Model is 34B and it is very big on top! Best suited to a D cup or above I'd say.
Waist: best fit 29" or below
Hip: up to 42"
Length (from top of shoulder to hem): a pinch over 55"
