A stunning and very delicate bias cut 1930s step-in, made from the lightest sheer silk chiffon in a baby blue shade. Originally intended to be worn as an underwear layer, it can be styled in a really cool and interesting way today. It features skinny straps, a sweetheart bust, and embroidered floral lace detailing across the chest. This has more of a slip appearance, as the step in button closure is sewn onto the inside, rather than into shorts.

Condition: A slightly wounded bird. This sweet step-in is probably best worn lightly, ideal for editorial, study or display. Please study the photos carefully, as I have tried to capture the issues as clearly as possible.

Please ignore the marks on my mannequins back and butt cheeks (haha), she's got some damage from storage. These are not marks on the step in!

• The majority of the silk chiffon is in good condition, but there are areas of fragility and wear, for example, photo 7.
• Small mend to the waist on the left hand side (photo 8). 
  
• Some holes in the lace (photo 9).
• Mends and seam pops to the seam at the back as well as a tear that has been somewhat mended by a former owner. (photos 10, 11 + 12)
