A sweet and simple petticoat, crafted from a very lightweight and semi-sheer white cotton. Dating from the 1910s, it features a classic tie-back closure, a wide band of beautiful openwork and floral embroidery at the hem, and defined seam detailing. Like many petticoats of this era, it has a deep opening at the back, which could be easily closed with a small alteration if desired.
Condition: Very good. There is a small stain at the waistband (photos 8 & 9) that has not lifted with treatment. Aside from that, in very good condition with some light wear to the cotton.
