A simple and lightweight original 1910s petticoat made from semi sheer white cotton. It features a classic tie back closure, a wide band of openwork and floral embroidery at the hem, and defined seam detailing. As typical for petticoats of this era, there is a deep back opening which could be closed with a small alteration if preferred.

Condition: Very good.

• There is a small stain at the waistband (photos 8–9) that has not lifted with treatment.
• Light wear to the cotton.
