A simple and lightweight 1910s petticoat made from semi-sheer white cotton. It has a classic tie-back closure, a wide band of openwork and floral embroidery at the hem, and defined seam detailing. As is typical for petticoats of this era, there is a deep opening at the back, which could be closed with a small alteration if preferred.
Condition: Very good. There is a small stain at the waistband (photos 8–9) that has not lifted with treatment. Otherwise in very good condition with light wear to the cotton.
