An Edwardian corset cover with short sleeves and openwork crochet detailing. It fastens at the front with four original buttons. The waist is cut more openly than many corset covers, allowing for a comfortable range of fit. The original owner’s initial, “D,” is embroidered on the right bust.
Condition: Very good. Light wear to the cotton in places. Two pinhole-sized holes on the back of the right sleeve, a small tear in the openwork at the waist, and a few very small holes on the left peplum curve.
