A lovely Edwardian corset cover with short sleeves and beautiful openwork crochet throughout. It buttons down the front with four original buttons and features a more open waist, allowing for a range of sizes. These blouse-style corset covers are more unusual to find, and this one, in particular, has a very flattering shape. The original owner's initial, "D," is embroidered on the right bust—a charming reminder of its history.
Condition: Very good. Some light wear to the cotton in places, along with two tiny pinhole-sized holes on the back of the right sleeve (photos 9 & 10). There is also a small tear to the openwork at the waist (photo 11). Some teeny tiny holes on the left hand peplum curve photo 8.
