1950s White Gleaming Satin Bullet Bra

I can never resist a really good bra… This stunning satin number comes from 'Barbara de Paris' and dates from the mid to late 1950s. A classic longline bralette style, it features a panelled front, a hook-and-eye back, and pointed cups with a strong central seam. A lovely quilted detail at the waist adds extra flair, while the adjustable straps with metal clasps ensure a perfect fit. Crafted from gleaming white satin, this is a truly elegant piece of vintage lingerie.

Please note: These photos were taken during an exceptionally sunny week in London (a rare occurrence!), which has given them a warmer, yellow tone. The most accurate representation of the colour is shown in the first two photos.

Condition: Very good. Some wear to the elastic panel at the back, but nothing major. Light general wear to the fabric. There is a small mark near the label that appears to be old sticker residue, though it is no longer sticky.

- Back Size: There is only one hook and eye 'setting', best suited for 32" or 34" I'd say
- Cup Width: 7.3" (best fit a C cup or small D).
- Cup Length: a pinch under 8"
