1940s Pink Crepe Jacket with Iridescent Beading

A truly lovely light crepe jacket from the late 1940s in a gorgeous dusty rose pink shade. Beautifully crafted and shaped, it features a defined waist, a V-neckline, pin-tucking at the shoulders, and 3/4-length sleeves.

The jacket showcases a contrasting raised stripe design throughout the body, echoed on the cuffs, and is adorned with iridescent dark beads that glint shades of blue, purple, and green with movement. It is unlined and has a label tag, though sadly, the text has faded. Faux pockets.

Condition: Structurally, she is in great condition; however, there are some aesthetic flaws. There is yellowing discolouration throughout (pics 2-10), most likely caused by UV exposure or storage staining, which has not responded to treatment. This is visible at the neckline, on the buttons, and throughout the body and arms. I have tried to show this as clearly as possible in the photos, so please study them carefully. Despite these markings, this remains a lovely piece that presents very well.
