This charming Edwardian petticoat is made from a thinner, softer cotton and features a midi length. The hem boasts an 11.5-inch panel with bands of filet lace detailing arranged in a diagonal pattern. Above the lace, two horizontal pintucks and a deep pleat add texture. Over the years, the waistband has been altered, with remnants of old elastic still visible. Modern poppers have been added for closure, and like many petticoats of this era, it has a deep opening at the back, which can be closed with some alteration if desired.
Condition: Very good. General signs of wear, including some fabric weakness and missing threads in the waistband. The last two photos show wear around the closure and a small mend on the waistband.
