This delicate and charming Edwardian dress was made for a teen girl and is crafted from the softest, most sheer lawn cotton—pure heaven to the touch! The full-length dress features a high bust line, a finely pleated skirt, and lovely tiers to the skirt. The bust has almost chevron-style frills, and the neck is adorned with a frilled collar for a truly classic Edwardian touch. It secures at the back with three replaced buttons, and it’s a beautifully crafted piece of fashion history.
Condition: In excellent condition for its age, with only a small amount of weakness under the left arm, which is hardly noticeable.
Measurements (in inches):
Shown on a UK size 6/8 mannequin (B:34"/W:25"/H:34”) —as you can see, it doesn't fully button at the back due to the narrower fit through the shoulders and armholes, which are tailored for a teen body.
