1900s 1910s White Cotton Petticoat Underskirt
I can never resist a good petticoat! This is a particularly lovely one, most likely dating from the turn of the century. It is made from lightweight white cotton and features a defined waistband, pin tucking, pleats, and a detailed hem with cut-out work in a floral-style design. It is a more unusual shorter style and is in lovely condition. It has been reworked at a later date to remove the tie back, and instead, has a hook and eye closure. The previous owner added multiple 'eyes' so it can fit a range of waists.
Condition: A few small catches in the cut-out work. There is also a mend to the back seam at the hem. A couple of small areas of wear are visible, but it presents beautifully.

Sizing Guide
Sizing Guide
Vintage clothing is often homemade and/or follows a very different size guide to modern-day clothing. Please ensure you check the measurements carefully on the product description before making your order. We use a rough sizing guide based on waist sizing:
XS | Waist 22"- 25"
S | Waist 26"- 27"
M | Waist 28"- 30"
L | Waist 31"- 32"
XL | Waist 33"- plus
Please do not take the size guide as gospel as the size stated here may not be the size you would normally buy. It is very important to know your bust, waist and hip sizing ahead of purchase.
