This wonderful silk chiffon dress is an exquisite example of 1930s glamour! Cut from faintly floral printed, sheer, black silk chiffon, this gown is effortlessly floaty and lightweight. It features a cowl neck, a beautifully tailored body, diagonally cut long sleeves with ruching at the elbow and a button cuff, and a keyhole back. It buttons at the back with small covered buttons, as well as secures at the side with poppers and a hook and eye. It is finished with an elaborate original peony corsage at the shoulder.
Condition: Only flaw of note is a teeny-tiny hole at the back. The fabric is very fine, and therefore the dress should be put on with care as it is fragile.
