1970s White and Purple Embroidered Cross Stitch Cotton Dress
A great little easy breezy smock dress. This dress is most likely from the late 1970s or early 1980s and appears to be made of a cotton and synthetic blend. It has bold purple cross-stitch embroidery panels at the yoke and just above the hem, as well as contrast threading at the sleeves. It has a defined waistline, and a more simplistic design, suggesting that this may have been a homemade project. It is unlined, with no closures and is worn by pulling it over the head.
Condition: Some larger holes running along the hem and at the seam connecting the bust section and sleeves - perhaps from more purple thread that was removed? Some light bobbling here and there. An incredibly faint stain to the back.
