1930s 1940s Baby Pink Lace Collared Day Dress
A delightful lace dress in a lovely bubblegum pink colour. This dates from the late 30s or cusp of the 40s, where skirts began to rise to almost the knee, conserving fabric and increasing freedom of movement. The bodice features a lovely seam detail at the bust, a small collar, and capped sleeves. The skirt is airy and A-line, and the dress fastens with poppers and a hook and eye on the right-hand side. This dress is semi-sheer due to the lace and would have originally been worn with a matching pink slip.
Condition: There is a small break to the lace at the back of the hem, which could be easily mended. It's been in my mending pile for too long and deserves a new loving home - hence the low price to reflect the mend needed. Some fraying to the closure area - perhaps a few small hand stitches could be added to strengthen.

XS | Waist 22"- 25"
S | Waist 26"- 27"
M | Waist 28"- 30"
L | Waist 31"- 32"
XL | Waist 33"- plus
Please do not take the size guide as gospel as the size stated here may not be the size you would normally buy. It is very important to know your bust, waist and hip sizing ahead of purchase.
