A gorgeous jacket from the late 1940s or very early 1950s, crafted from soft ochre-toned corduroy. Beautifully tailored with a flattering nipped-in waist, it features a rounded collar and gently padded shoulders for that iconic mid-century silhouette. The front fastens with leather buttons, which also feature on the pockets. At the back, a faux belt detail further defines the waist. Fully lined in a matching ochre crepe. It has no labels.
Condition: Good. Structurally, this piece is excellent, but it does show discolouration throughout. In my opinion, this adds to the lived-in charm of the jacket, but please note it is not flawless. There are scattered reddish/pinkish marks throughout, as well as some rust spots and storage stains here and there. Be sure to study the photos carefully.
