An amazing—and very unusual—piece! Dating from the 1960s, this dress is cut from 100% high-quality dyed rust brown suede. It's incredibly weighty, and the craftsmanship is second to none. Made by the French brand Brezin, it features a long, slightly column-like silhouette with a pinafore-style back. The bodice has shaped cups edged with scalloping, and it fastens all the way down the back with buttons. The fit is loose, and it’s unlined. A truly rare and remarkable piece!
Condition: Very good. As expected with vintage suede, there is some natural fading and wear throughout. The piece has clearly been worn and loved, resulting in some colour discrepancies, mottling, and variations in texture and tone—all of which add to its character. There is one small mark at the waist that appears to be a cigarette burn or something similar.
