This beautiful deadstock lingerie set from Taylor-Woods, dating to the 1960s, is an absolute gem. I always love discovering pieces from this brand—they're consistently well-made and have a very interesting history. Founded after the Second World War in Enniskillen, Fermanagh, Taylor-Woods was created to boost local employment. From its humble beginnings in the town’s Old County Hall and former gaol, it grew into a global success story, employing over a thousand people and exporting its coveted hosiery and lingerie worldwide.
This matching set is made from a vibrant fuchsia bri-nylon, and includes a ‘swallow-back’ slip and matching high-waisted knickers. The slip is midi-length with shaped cups, sheer lace detailing, and adjustable straps. The knickers feature a classic silhouette with an elasticated waist for comfort. Both pieces are brand new with original tags, labeled 'WX' and petite—ideal for a more voluptuous figure and a shorter frame. The original box is a treat in itself! A truly special set—perfect for collectors or as a unique gift.
Condition: Unworn and in original packaging. I have not washed this yet to preserve as dead stock. Slightly musty smell from storage, this will go with a wash.
