1940s Black Corde Wristlet Bag

This lovely vintage Corde handbag dates to around the mid-to-late 1940s. Expertly crafted from tightly woven black rayon cord, it features sculptural lines and a bold, architectural silhouette with a single structured handle. The bag closes with a brass zip and retains its original chain pull and satin interior, complete with a three section inner, and the original gold Genuine Corde label. 

Condition: Very good. The exterior presents beautifully, with only minor wear consistent with age. The rayon cord is intact with no visible fraying, and the structure remains firm. The brass zip shows light tarnishing but works smoothly. The interior satin is clean overall, with a few faint marks.
