1950s Floral 'Evelyn Pearson' Housecoat
This lovely 1950s housecoat comes from Evelyn Pearson, a prominent name in American loungewear from the mid-'40s to the '90s. Renowned for creating versatile pieces for lounging, sleeping, and even informal entertaining, this housecoat is both stylish and practical—elegant enough to double as a dress!
It features a classic wrap front, capped sleeves, and a crossover bust, with a side popper closure at the waist for a secure fit. The waist features a pretty pleat detail at the back, alongside an attached belt to cinch. The skirt is very full and floaty. Crafted from rose-printed nylon, it’s lightweight, sheer, and unlined, designed to be worn over a slip.

Sizing Guide
Sizing Guide
Vintage clothing is often homemade and/or follows a very different size guide to modern-day clothing. Please ensure you check the measurements carefully on the product description before making your order. We use a rough sizing guide based on waist sizing:
XS | Waist 22"- 25"
S | Waist 26"- 27"
M | Waist 28"- 30"
L | Waist 31"- 32"
XL | Waist 33"- plus
Please do not take the size guide as gospel as the size stated here may not be the size you would normally buy. It is very important to know your bust, waist and hip sizing ahead of purchase.
