1940s 'CC41' Pink Celanese Slip Nightdress
This 1940s nightdress is a rare gem, complete with its intact CC41 label, a mark of wartime austerity standards. Made from soft, ballet-slipper pink shimmering Celanese fabric, it features a sleek bias cut, high bust line, square neckline, and a ribbon belt. The fit is incredibly flattering, and the tie neck adds the perfect finishing touch. Plus, it’s not too sheer—always a bonus!

Sizing Guide
Sizing Guide
Vintage clothing is often homemade and/or follows a very different size guide to modern-day clothing. Please ensure you check the measurements carefully on the product description before making your order. We use a rough sizing guide based on waist sizing:
XS | Waist 22"- 25"
S | Waist 26"- 27"
M | Waist 28"- 30"
L | Waist 31"- 32"
XL | Waist 33"- plus
Please do not take the size guide as gospel as the size stated here may not be the size you would normally buy. It is very important to know your bust, waist and hip sizing ahead of purchase.
