1940s Pink Satin Slip with Smocking

A gorgeously glowing satin slip in a beautiful pink shade. Originally floor-length, it has been shortened into a more modern midi length and is a little "as is," but full of charm. Dating from the late 1940s, it features delicate smocking at the waist and shoulders, with an embroidered leaf design across the bust. The neckline and sleeves are finished with a scalloped edge, and the waist cinches with an attached belt. No labels.

Condition: Good/Very Good. Presents beautifully, but there are cosmetic flaws. The satin shows creasing, areas of thinning, and general signs of age, with a few small areas of hole-ing in places. I’ve shown these as clearly as possible—please review the photos carefully.
