1930s Pink Satin Pyjama Blouse

A sweet little satin blouse, originally part of a pyjama set. Made in a lovely pink shade, it features cap sleeves, a soft, slightly boxy shape, and a high V-neck. Ribbons are entwined at the bust, while the neckline and armholes are finished with delicate scalloping. No labels.

Condition: Good. Presents beautifully but with some flaws. The entire blouse seems to fit a teeny tiny lopsided, which is probably best seen in picture two. In addition, the satin shows creasing, thinning in places, and general signs of age. The ribbon on the left side isn’t secured, so it needs to be tucked in. There is tearing to each side of the neckline at the shoulders (shown in photos). These could be reinforced with extra fabric, but if worn with care, they shouldn’t worsen. This has been factored into the price.
