An exquisite late 1930s blouse crafted from stiff, medium-weight linen and adorned with intricate hand-embroidered floral designs. This beautifully made piece features a rounded collar, embroidered sleeves, and a pleated dipped hem. It buttons down the front with woven buttons, though the fourth button is decorative (stitched closed), and the others are functional. A very special example of the lost art of hand embroidery!
Condition: Very good for its age. Some discolouration to the underarms that is not seen when worn. Some light wear to the linen here and there.
