A lovely Edwardian corset cover featuring what appears to be beautifully embroidered wisteria branches on each bust—truly exquisite craftsmanship. It’s cut in a classic shape with a wider bust, scooped neckline, and cinched waist. It buttons down the front with three original buttons. The neckline and sleeves are delicately scalloped, and the hem is slightly curved in a soft peplum style.
Condition: Very good. Some light bobbling to the cotton. There is a large-ish area of faint yellow staining under the left armpit that has not improved with treatment (photos 10 & 11). The top button is missing, and there is no closure at the waist.
