Calling all romantic underwear lovers! These classic chemises are perfect for wearing as either underwear or outerwear. This particular piece is absolutely gorgeous, showcasing a button-down front, a slightly peplum hem, and a unique cutout embroidered motif of wisteria branches at the bust—an unusual floral choice for embroidery! The sleeves and neck are adorned with a scalloped hem, adding a delicate touch. The buttons are adorable and teeny tiny! Overall, a beautiful example of classic antique undergarments.
Condition: There are two areas of staining. The first is on the left bust but is very faint (seen in pics 7, 8 & 11). The second is under the back armpit on the right hand side. This is stronger in colour but is hidden well when worn. Shown in pics 9 & 10.
