1910s Cotton Corset Cover with Floral Embroidery
Calling all romantic underwear lovers! These classic chemises are perfect for wearing as either underwear or outerwear. This particular piece is absolutely gorgeous, showcasing a button-down front, a slightly peplum hem, and two floral motifs by the neck. This is embroidered in white thread with a faded hint of pale blue. Originally, these could have been a true blue but have faded over time. The sleeves and neck are adorned with a scalloped hem, adding a delicate touch. The buttons are some of the smallest I have ever seen! So dinky and sweet.
Condition: Some pulling to the cotton thread on the left hand side (pic 9). Some very, very faint dislocation by the neck and sleeves.
Shown on an approx UK size 6 mannequin (B:34"/W:25"/H:34”)
- Bust: up to 39"
- Waist: 28"
- Length: 18.6"
