A very lightweight antique nightdress dating from the 1910s to 1920s, made from fine white cotton. It has a loose, slightly A-line silhouette with a square neckline and short sleeves. An embroidered panel with openwork detail sits at the neckline and is repeated at the cuffs. Pin-tucking at the bust adds gentle shape. Extremely light and easy to wear.
Condition: Very good. Some wear to the cotton, a small tear at the neckline (photo 8), and a small mark to the back (photo 9).
