1900s White Cotton Chemise Short Tunic
This sweet Edwardian tunic undershirt was most likely worn beneath a skirt and blouse as an extra layer of underwear. It has a slightly triangular, loose shape and is made from fine white cotton. It is slightly shorter than other chemises I have, making it great for wearing as a summer blouse. The bust features three embroidered daisies and an 'M,' for the original owner's name. The straps are made of thicker cotton and are cut short and high.
Condition: generally in very good condition, with some general light wear to the cotton. Some hand stitched mends to the straps. Three mends to the back shown in pics 8 - 11. One larger mend to the front right hand hem shown in pics 12 & 13. Mend to the back of the left straps shown in pic 14 & 15.

Sizing Guide
Sizing Guide
Vintage clothing is often homemade and/or follows a very different size guide to modern-day clothing. Please ensure you check the measurements carefully on the product description before making your order. We use a rough sizing guide based on waist sizing:
XS | Waist 22"- 25"
S | Waist 26"- 27"
M | Waist 28"- 30"
L | Waist 31"- 32"
XL | Waist 33"- plus
Please do not take the size guide as gospel as the size stated here may not be the size you would normally buy. It is very important to know your bust, waist and hip sizing ahead of purchase.
