A gorgeous Victorian nightdress with a high waist and broderie anglaise detailing throughout. This piece features 3/4 length sleeves with heavily detailed, scalloped cut-out cuffs, diagonal stripes of embroidery and openwork across the bust, and loop detailing for ribbons at the high waist, neckline, and sleeves. A particularly special example of Victorian nightwear. I have added modern 100% silk ribbons, but these can be removed if preferred.
Condition: Excellent for its age. Light wear to the cotton, and a small tear at the back of the neckline.
