1900s Edwardian Workers Smock
1900s Edwardian Workers Smock
A fabulous and beautifully made traditional French worker’s smock, crafted from a thick linen and cotton blend. It features long sleeves, slits up each side, a grandad collar, and neat pleating through the body. At the hip, the initials “L” and “R” are embroidered, the original owner’s monogram.
Please note, the mirror photos make it appear brighter than it is; the hanger images show the most accurate colour. It is a muted, cream toned white rather than a stark bright white.
Condition: Very good for its age. The bottom button is missing, and the top button is a more modern replacement. There is some speckled rust marking at the lower left hem, along with two additional marks that have not lifted with treatment.
